Initial Exchanger Setup

A step-by-step route from a clean admin panel to the first real exchange. Each step is covered in depth in its own documentation section — here you get the sequence and checkpoints.

Step 1. Basic brand parameters

In the admin panel, open the general settings section and fill in:

Step 2. Currencies and directions

  1. In the currencies section, enable the currencies you need from the platform catalog (code, network/standard, precision).
  2. Create exchange directions “you send → you receive”.
  3. For each direction set minimum and maximum amounts, the number of network confirmations for crediting, and additional order fields (e.g. memo/tag or card number).

Details: Currencies & Exchange Directions.

Step 3. Markup

Set your own markup percentage for each direction. The final client rate is calculated on demand: market rate → platform fee → your markup. Mechanics: Rate Formation.

Recommendation for launch: keep markup competitive on top pairs (BTC, ETH, USDT-TRC20) — it directly affects your monitoring position; on rare directions you can set it higher.

Step 4. Reserves

Set reserves for directions — they are shown on the site and in the monitoring feed. Manual reserves, derivation from another currency, and conversion via merchant are available. Details: Reserves.

Step 5. Merchants and payouts

  1. Connect merchants to accept client funds: your own wallets, payment system accounts, payment gateways.
  2. Run diagnostics: balance, transaction journal, test payment.
  3. Configure auto-payouts on ready directions — with limits and mandatory manual moderation of large orders.

Details: Connecting Merchants, Auto-payouts.

Step 6. Verification and AML

Decide which verification levels are required (e-mail, phone, payment details, KYC) and connect an AML provider to screen incoming transactions. Details: User Verification, AML Transaction Screening.

Step 7. Notifications

Connect admin notifications (new orders, payout errors, AML hits, low balances) and client e-mail templates. Details: Notifications.

Step 8. Test exchange

Run a full cycle with a small amount:

  1. Create an order on the site as a client.
  2. Pay it and wait for crediting (check the confirmation count).
  3. Make sure the auto-payout went through (or pay out manually).
  4. Check notifications, order statuses in the cabinet, and the entry in financial statistics.

Step 9. Launch

  • Turn off test/maintenance mode, review the homepage and direction tables.
  • Apply for monitoring listings — the rate export is already available (see Partner API & Monitoring Integrations).
  • Set up regular monitoring routines: merchant balances, order queue, financial statistics.
